For symbolic project products, sponsorships, support contributions, or donations, the focus is on supporting the respective project. A claim for delivery of a specific physical good only exists if this is explicitly stated on the respective product page.

4. Conclusion of Contract via Shopify

The presentation of donation options, support contributions, or products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to submit an order or declaration of support.

You can add a selection to your shopping cart and then proceed to checkout. Before submitting the order, you can review and correct your entries. By clicking the final order button, you submit a binding offer to conclude the respective contract or to carry out the selected transaction.

The contract is concluded when we accept the order or transaction. Acceptance can take place, in particular, through an order confirmation by email, by payment confirmation, or by carrying out the transaction.

5. Prices, Amounts and Payment Terms

All amounts indicated on the website are in Euros. Insofar as no sales tax is incurred for donations or support contributions, it will not be shown. Insofar as taxable services or products are offered, the tax information provided in the checkout applies.

Payment is made using the payment methods offered in the checkout. The available payment methods may vary depending on the technical setup.

6. Donations and Donation Receipts

Insofar as a payment is designated as a donation, it will be used to support the statutory or project-related purposes of Living Charity e.V.

A donation receipt will only be issued if the legal requirements are met and the necessary information has been provided in full. A claim for a donation receipt only exists within the framework of legal provisions.

7. Delivery and Shipping

For purely digital or symbolic support contributions, donations, or project products, no physical delivery takes place.

Should physical products be offered, the scope of delivery, delivery time, shipping costs, and delivery area are derived from the respective product page and the information in the checkout.

8. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers are entitled to a right of withdrawal, where legally provided. Details can be found in the separate cancellation policy.

9. Warranty

Statutory warranty rights apply, insofar as physical or digital products are sold.

For donations or purely symbolic support contributions, there is no claim to a specific economic, ecological, or project-related individual effect, unless explicitly promised otherwise.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, as well as for injury to life, body, or health.

In the event of slightly negligent breaches of essential contractual obligations, we shall only be liable for the typical, foreseeable damage. Essential contractual obligations are those obligations the fulfillment of which is essential for the proper execution of the contract and on the observance of which users may regularly rely.

Any further liability is excluded, as far as legally permissible.

12. Storage of the Contract Text

The contract text is not permanently stored by us for retrieval by the user. The essential details of the order or transaction are communicated by email. Users can save the order data before submitting the order using the browser's print function.

14. Consumer Dispute Resolution

We are not obliged and unwilling to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

15. Final Provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, unless mandatory consumer protection regulations stand in the way.

Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become ineffective, the effectiveness of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
